DURCO MFG CO., INC. Specializing in screw machine products as it is known today was originally an asset purchase of Davenport screw machines from an existing business by the father/daughter team F. Donald Ek and Barb Ek in 1995.

F. Donald Ek, (d. 2007) brought his extensive business and marketing acumen to lead the company in its infancy stages and Barb Ek with her experience and knowledge of cost and corporate accounting founded the company with the vision of creating a full-service screw machine company.

Today, more than 20 years later, that small asset purchase has grown to occupy a 10,000 square foot facility hosting an array of support equipment, specialty machine attachments and secondary services (heat treating, plating and secondary operations) that can service just about every industry Our recently acquired ISO CERTIFICATION allows us to service Aerospace to Medical and a wide variety of shaped and turned components

Durco is centrally located in Waterbury, CT that is logistically advantageous for our New England customers providing them with rapid transit times.
